Two Guys Give A Homeless Man A Surprise Gourmet Thanksgiving Dinner On T...

I love this video for many reasons. Why is this so hard to do? To take one day out of the year, to go out of your way for someone who you know "in a perfect world" (as they said) would want to have a good warm meal and talk to someone.

Homeless Veteran

Happy Memorial Day everyone! But don't forget about the people that fought for our country and have lost their lives for us. Also a lot of these men have had budget cuts to veteran funding and are indeed homeless or struggling to pay for things because of injuries from battle. It's upsetting and sad that the average person on the street would see this man and think "homeless" before "veteran". I am still trying to get homeless awareness out there by spreading love and positive energy. Be kind, be open and be aware. <3

Are You Still Around?

Hello everyone! Again sorry I've been away for awhile. I've been selfish and lazy. I want to let you all know that I plan on updating at least once a week unless I get requests to update more! I'll be graduating soon and have the whole summer to reflect on how I plan to make this world a better place one blog post at a time.

But first things first.. I don't know if anyone reads these or if my thoughts are drifting hopelessly through time and space not reaching anyone's soul, but... If I am reaching someone.. would you let me know? And would you let others know. My fear is that this will reach one person who might read it but let it stop there.
No, that's my worst fear. So please get this stuff out there. Not as in mention the blog, but the cause. Please, when you see someone walk past a homeless man who asks for spare change or you see a person with a disability getting picked on, or an elderly woman who needs help carrying in groceries please STOP AND HELP! Don't let this die on the internet. It starts with you and it doesn't end. Thank you!

The Boy With Butterfly Skin

If you could take the time to see how this little boy is hurting. To see what it's like to live day to day doing things other than being online or changing your hair. Stop focusing on yourself. All this little boy wishes is that he could run, walk, use a pencil, get ready for school. And we're worried about our next hair color or what shirt we want to buy...He's just trying to get through day to day things. So when you're thinking of yourself, or how upset you are, or how bad you're hurting.. remember that it's not just YOU. Think about the souls that need thoughts and prayers for them..

Homelessness in Art

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2569408/Sculpture-Jesus-homeless-person-sleeping-beneath-blanket-bench-divides-North-Carolina-town.html

Hi Everyone! Sorry I've been away for awhile it's been crazy lately! But please take a moment to look at this amazing inspirational article about a man who made a bronze sculpture to look like a homeless man covered up with a blanket, lying on a bench. But with a twist. His feet are exposed, hanging off the bench and have holes in them.

Holes? Yes holes. Right through his feet. Why? The artist says that it is a representation of Jesus. He explains that Jesus is among everyone; the poor, the rich, etc. etc. Even the Pope has blessed it!!!! But get this, a museum had taken it in and are now refusing to show it in their museum because they argued

"We don't feel comfortable showing Jesus as a homeless man," Excuse me, what? That statement to me is absolutely ridiculous. Jesus (as it says clearly in the Bible) preached to everyone no matter their status. He was the son of God and did not hate humanity or think any human was dirty not even sinners. Remember the 10 commandments were written by Moses not Jesus. So I don't understand. In the 10 commandments it says "Love thy neighbor,"

I guess some people never learn. I thank you all that follow this blog or at least read one thing and take away an important life lesson out of it. We are all the same; HUMAN

Budweiser Super Bowl XLVIII Commercial -- "A Hero's Welcome"

I cried so hard when I watched this. This blog is centered and focused on raising awareness for the homeless, but we also need to raise awareness for mankind in general. So when I saw this it really made me smile and cry and have faith in the ones we call neigbors

2014's US and Canada Snowstorm 'Hercules' : 16 Killed in Record-Breaking...

Think of the homeless on the street right now, in one of the coldest weather reports since 1840! 15 minutes in this and you would develop hypothermia. Take sympathy please, inform your local police station or fire department to get the homeless into shelters.
